Dynamite All-Star Cheerleading Program

Our year-round All-Star cheerleading program has been designed for boys and girls interested in a competitive cheerleading program.  We offer teams ranging from elementary school age children through high school age children.  Training will include two to three sessions a week depending on the level of the team.  Practices will focus on physical fitness, conditioning, tumbling, stunting, dancing, jumping, and proper cheer motions.

Team Member Selection

Dynamite All-Star team members are selected based on the following:

Attitude
     Work Ethic
Desire to be a part of a team
     Strength
     Flexibility
     Technique
     Tumbling Ability

Members will be placed on a team based on age, individual skill level, and the needs of that particular team.  Team assignments will be the responsibility of the coaching staff.  Teams will be established after tryouts have taken place.  This will allow the coaching staff to place each child on the team that is best suited to their level.  It is possible that team assignments may change during the course of the 2011 – 2012 year at any time.  If this occurs, it is for the betterment of the team member(s), individual team(s), and the program as a whole.

Cheer Practice While Not In Competition Season

The North Florida Dynamite All-Stars will begin practicing Tuesday, May 3rd for the 2011 – 2012 season.  Practices between the beginning of May thru to the end of July will focus on individual training for conditioning, flexibility and cheer skills such as stunts, motions, jumps, and tumbling.  This time will also help determine the appropriate skill level of the team for the competition season.  Again, please keep in mind that movement between teams will be at the discretion of the coaches, and will be determined by the needs of the individual team member(s), team(s), and the program as a whole.
